Mission Statement
The Center for Speech, Language & Learning's mission is to deliver the best possible service to our clients, children as well as adults. We want our families to feel a part of the process from the evaluation to setting goals for their child or themselves. We believe that parents play a most influential role in their child’s language and brain development so we want to be sure that parents have the tools necessary to best help their child at home and at school. This is the reason that we place emphasis on having parents be partners in participating in their child’s sessions and the reason we have assembled a team of experts with whom we work. This team includes a neuropsychologist, psychologist, developmental pediatrician, child psychiatrist, occupational therapist, music therapist, educator and our experienced speech/language pathologists who each specializes in varying aspects of the field of speech and language. We provide our clients and their families with the latest research on pertinent topics so that we are able to have an effective dialogue as a team in order to deliver the best possible therapy, tutoring and training to our clients.
