Speech and Language Evaluations
The clinicians at NCCSLL provide an in-depth, comprehensive evaluation of speech and language skills for all clients. An evaluation includes the following: parent/caregiver interview, medical history review, observation of play and/or conversational skills, standardized articulation and language tests. Once this information has been gathered, a written report is provided along with a follow-up phone or in-person consultation to review the report, test scores and recommendations with the client and/or client’s caregivers.

$250.00 up to 2 hours
$350.00 over 2 hours
Speech and Language Therapies
On-going speech and language services will be recommended based upon standardized and non-standardized test scores, parent and teacher report, and the team decision regarding how to best serve the child/student/client. Frequency of services is recommended based upon the same information, and is again determined by the team.
At this time, NCCSLL accepts Medicaid and NC HealthChoice insurance
plans. Other insurance plans are not accepted at this time. However,
we are happy to provide the family with any paperwork or documentation to
assist the policyholder in filing on his/her own.
